‘Bloom Bright.. for every little sister’ is a riso zine that follows nature as a teacher of life lessons. By exploring how flowers reproduce, I came across unique mechanisms of certain flowers that were intriguing. The sundew flower attracts insects with its sweet sticky nectar while the strangler fig traps trees off their sunlight.

The zine is a guide for young women to stay true to who they are. In a society that is still patriarchal, we tend to overlook layers of sexism that exist in our everyday life.
The combination of illustration and text is meant to be lighthearted and even funny. It is not an instruction guide but a book of support and affirmation.
